Over the years we have built up a team of dedicated professionals who have a wealth of experience in dealing with small and medium sized businesses and their owners.
As with any small business our major asset is our staff, and its knowledge base. We continually invest in training and regular updating to ensure we are able to meet the needs of our clients.
At present, we have fifteen staff. There are five qualified accountants, four trainee accountants, a qualified tax consultant, two other accountants, a payroll accountant and two secretarial staff. They are supported by up to date computer based software and systems. In addition, we have built up contacts with other professional organisations to access their expertise, where needed, for the benefit of our clients. This means we can provide a wide range of advice at reasonable cost.
As well as providing the usual mix of accounts and taxation services, we are members of the “Sage Accountants Club” and have staff who are trained in the use of bookkeeping systems, so we can help “from the ground up”. At the other end of the spectrum, our taxation section has experience of quite complex personal and capital gains taxation cases, and also deals with Inland Revenue enquiry work.
Other areas where our staff have specialist knowledge include the horse racing industry and solicitor practices, not that the two necessarily go hand in hand! We also have considerable experience of the Construction Industry Scheme.
Most of our staff have been with us for many years, and have detailed knowledge of our equally longstanding clients’ business affairs. Clients find us easy to approach and we do our best to help them, whatever the circumstances.
